I am still making same mistakes over and over it seems. Granted I didn’t spend enough time but I still have novice’s belief that my first writing that came out of ‘flow’ is good enough.

Of course it wasn’t

1. story needs story, an event. I somehow knew this but mine didn’t have that climax. the event that blows. the punch line.
2. my diction also went back and forth between first person to third person descriptive. gotta learn to be consistent
3. as usual, I looked up thesaurus one too many times. It’s a bad habit I have been carrying since middle school. I learned to not repeat same words in a paragraph. So what I did was look up the thesaurus and change one or two of them. Using snonyms. <- never do it again
