Eventful Weekend

August 21st, 2006

Le’t recap.

Saturday

  • Boat Cruise from 12 pm to 5 pm - This was supposed to be a ‘romantic’ lunch buffet cruise going around the Lake Ontario. Weather didn’t help nor the lunch staff. Mind you, food was alright. It’s just that they took food away as soon as line up ended that it wasn’t really a buffet. They had five different cakes as desserts though. DJ was also horrible. People were dancing to the Chicken Dance song and Hokcey Pockey. As Michelle said, “it was one hour too long.”
  • HyunSe’s BDAY from 7 pm to 2 am - This was much better. Peter, Andrew, HyunSe, HyunYup, Michelle and I went to St. Louis for wings–I was starved by then. Then we went to Yonge Karaoke for 2 hours of singins (paid $28 for the biggest room, including drinks!) Then we went over to Romano’s Mr. Sub store on Bathrust and Steeles for some custom made not-on-the-menu sandwiches. Along with dunking my cousin’s face in the birthday cake… hahaha. I shall upload the picture sometime later this week. Over all, good times.

    UPDATE

Sunday

  • Spamalot from 2 pm to 5 pm - As some of you know already, I went to see Spamalot with the crowd few weeks ago. This time, however, Michelle and I sat on Row D seats 21 and 22. 12th row from the stage! I was blown away by actors expressions and laughed endlessly, again. Though many of the ’surprises’ were rubbed off, I enjoyed the show very much; I think Michelle loved many of the scenes. Honestly, I think seeing a musical from the front row of the dress circle for the first time is probably the best…provided it’s not LOTR or any other bad musicals. Perhaps I shall attempt the lottery for WICKED…

As I said…very eventful weekend.
