Crowd Control - TOJAM 3 - Part 2
June 8th, 2008I know Tojam3(tojam.ca) ended a month ago but I was asked not to release the code before end of June. It’s June and though Tojam site will be updated shortly…since hardly anyone checks my blog, I will share the original and revised version now.
[Update: The only reason I have the game on my site is to explain what I wasted my past month on and why I ignored practically every invitation out--not that they were many to begin with. ]
>>Original (jinkang.ca):Here is the buggy code: the result of sweat and blood right after Tojam event. Romano was dragged in, Richard fought sleep hard and I barely survived.
>>Final (jinkang.ca):: One month later, after many sleep less nights with me spending 3~4 hours each day–I dare say I put 7~80% of efforts in this improvements–we have our final version 2.7 2.8 3.0 that was used for Tojam Arcade. (Thanks for coming, Michelle and Andrew!)
Check out neat door animation by Richard, new map by Richard and overhaul of level and animation by your truly.
I am just glad it’s over: though it was really tough and a few criticisms (all of them valid), it’s a great feeling to produce what you had envisioned.

Congrads, I was pretty impressed as to how looks good & polished it is; Although it would much cooler if it was drag & drop. (I don’t know flash, so …)
It sounds like you guys enjoy the creation of this, I hope more people will try it out.
Great work & something to remember in a few years.

TOJam organizer Jim McG here. Thanks very much for waiting. We WILL have your game up by next Sunday. We’re halfway done the game pages, and have a lot of momentum. Make sure you send me the 2.7 version of the game.
